Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta are all of a sudden arguably a threat now. With a very successful off-season picking up Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari and of course 2X champ Rajon Rondo to play off the bench. These additions could be the perfect fit for a young Trae Young who we all know is very capable of just blowing a game open with his shooting alone.

Atlanta could be looking at playing playoffs again since 2017 with a few fresh faces around the young star Trae young. I believe they are capable of making it to the 2nd round in the east but going up against a tough Brooklyn side as well as philly and Miami I just don’t see them winning a 7 game series against teams of that calibre.

Phoenix Suns

Well I never thought I would be so excited to do a take on the Phoenix Suns, but I couldn’t stay away from the new look roster and not feel some what excited. Phoenix haven’t made the playoffs since 2009/2010 season causing a 10 year drought one of the more lengthy droughts in the NBA. With the addition of Chris Paul you can’t help but ask are we gonna see the Phoenix of old when Nash and Stoudamire were running the show, (a very scary threat). Phoenix made the most of their offseason and now look like a genuine threat in the west but still not sold on the lack of post season experience when it come’s to the playoffs.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City are going for a completely new look, with only one of last seasons remaining starters being Shai Gilgous Alexander. Their look with a new coach Mark Daigneault and several new players, Al Horford, Trevor Ariza and George Hill. I personally find it interesting with a complete roster change. Getting rid of some core players such as Steven Adams or even players who have developed there like Terence Ferguson. I don’t believe OKC will play in the playoffs and will probably have no more than 35 wins throughout the season. When looking at this new look roster it could be a way of enhancing Shai’s role within the team and giving him that essential role as the leader of the team. Putting in a lot of role players who can shoot the 3 and pass the ball it seems to be case.

What do you guys think I would really like to hear your side of this as I’m so interested in Sam Presti’s strategy in this.
